Just a quick and minor update
First of all, the book I mentioned earlier is definitely a winner. I’m taking it slow and enjoying it a lot. It’s full of really interesting and good information.
In other news, Craigslist came through for me. I got a really nice heavy duty table saw for a good price, and now all I need tools-wise are a router with table and a decent jigsaw. My wife is pretty understanding about what I did with my money so I should be able to proceed once I get my cast off. Hopefully that will happen in the next week or so. ![]()

Be sure and check into any local sawblade sharpeners too. They can really save you money over the cost of buying new blades, and a good sharpener can make an old blade just LIKE new. They can sometimes do certain router bits too.

Hey Cyberjag, how about another update? I’m counting on you to move forward on your Glen-L 15 project. That is a sweet looking design.
After I finished my Jimmy Skiff and sailed it for the summer, I am starting to get the urge to build another boat. I just can’t afford the time and expense right now. So… It’s up to you!
Thanks - Ron
